We blew into town (almost literally, nice stiff breeze on our tail from Page), landing at the motel around 2:30. We unpacked, then ran Tyler over to Granny and Gramps while we take Nora in to check on her eye. It is in the low 80′s, and the breeze has tailed off a bit. Dinner with the family around 7:30 at a nice Italian joint…munchies and the sights until then.
We arrived in Panguitch around 8 last night after a pleasant drive from Sandy. We tried dinner at a Subway an hour earlier with mixed results with the kids. Nora looks to have picked up pink eye from daycare, as her right eye goobered all afternoon and evening. She finally napped about 20 minutes from Panguitch, so we unpacked the crib and plopped her in — one kid snoozin, one to go.
Tyler was a different story. At 11:30 I finally went to bed with him still awake, although checking on Nora a bit later, he was out.
We awoke around 8, cleaned up Nora’d goobers and ate a hearty meal at the Flying M cafe. Tyler ordered 13 (2) eggs and ate them all, plus most of a huge pancake.
The drive this morning has been beautiful, although Nora’s eye has been bothering her some.
