Eros, Ralph, Gonzo, and Nicademous were all wound up and ready to meet us when we pulled up this afternoon with Tyler Robert. It took a little bit to gather up and get checked out of the hospital…of course Tyler needed to feed, and lunch game, and this and that. We had an uneventful trip home, pulled into the driveway, and Grandma Bean was out in front waiting. She watched the kid as we showered the pets with love and let them smell a blanket, then we introduced the herd to the future herder.
All went well, Tyler received a cold wet nose from Eros, and Ralph was very curious, but neither dog has any qualms about their new family member. When he lets out a cry, both are on their heels looking for the cat that caused the problem, then attending to his needs as quickly as it is possible for two canines to do.
Anyway, time to eat and such, more later…
