What Happens in the Tahoe…
is posted on the Interweb a few days later. No words needed, just crank up the volume and watch.
Changes All Around
Flossie's new do...and Tyler out of the blue has taken up drinking regular (non-chocolate) milk out of no where. I do not question these things, I simply roll with it.
After an hour or so in the kitchen, we had some seasoned pork chops, corn on the cob, and Nora's favorite -- noodles ! Notice how she teaches her baby doll, who's sitting with her at the table eating, how to properly eat noodles.
Grandkid Shuffle
Tyler and Nora met up with Gramma Becky yesterday in Torrington, and said goodbye to Granny and Gramps. Shortly after the handoff, I received a phone call from one of the kids...well...both of them, and found out they had cheez-its and cookies for lunch. Tyler had a lot of words for me, half of which I could make out, but they ranged from "short train with a caboose, gramma is driving funny, I had a cookie, I had cheezits, I had [cup] cake and water, Nora just had cheezits for lunch and no [cup] cake." Nora had a few words for me: "hi daddy; cookie; ove ou."

Breakfast in Dubois
Breakfast of champions (or at least grandkids).
Tyler points out to me that I need to watch for rain deer (deer that come out when it rains).
Dinner with Grandpa
Originally, we had plans on Saturday to ride the Verde Canyon Railroad on Saturday, but decided to not push Nora, so we just lolly gagged our way from Flagstaff to Sedona, Jerome, the over to Prescott. We arrived around 3:30, and by 4:15 or so, Grandpa Larty arrived.
We nabbed a bite to eat, then took a tour around Whiskey Row in downtown Prescott. We enjoyed a tasty dip of ice cream, then headed back to the hotel.
Commencement
Ceremonies begin at 2PM, about 25 minutes to go. Kids doing better today, but sleepy time approaches.
Tired Tyler
No nap, later meal, time change make Tyler fall asleepy. Nora is having fun, she and I just tried some calamari...
