Another Day, Another ER Visit
Little girl wants to help make dinner. Little girl does very well. Little girl is listening. Daddy goes to wash hands. Little girl spies opportunity to snag a pineapple chunk from an open can. Little girl busts out wailing. Little girl has trail of blood following her across the kitchen. Little girl gets a ride to the ER. Little girl gets three stitches. Little girl forgets it all happened and eats chicken and pineapple kabobs (no peppers for her) when she gets home. Little boy shares his cookies with little girl, priceless.

Good thing her Momma has so much experience with ER’s. Poor Peaches, that is enough stitches, each one has had them now.

Actually, it was refreshing to be in the ER not worried about a 105 fever or her breathing. At least this we knew could be fixed pretty quickly. The calmity at the ER… no cartoons on. All they had was Nick at Nite with George Lopez. Not conducive for a 3 year old. Oh well… she got princess stickers and a new bracelet.
