The speedo crapped out north of Ely at some point…so I drove at 60 instead of 70 for an hour. After stopping in Wells, we hit Ludicrous speed…

    Tall gear with the rpms at such an outrageous speed. I recall Nevada once had no legal limit, but didn’t realize it was now posted SPEED LIMIT: Ludicrous

    Is minimum speed posted as: Barely sane?

    Rick is right on!! How fast is fast enough? Did you use a stop watch on the mile markers to attain your 60 mph? We used to do that on the trains and it gets boring really fast!!
